BENZATHINE PENICILLINE POWDER INJECTION

Indications:

Benzathine penicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin, mainly used to prevent rheumatic fever, treatment of various stages of syphilis, but also can be used to control the prevalence of streptococcal infections.
It is used to prevent the recurrence of rheumatic fever and can also be used to control the prevalence of streptococcal infections.

Contra-indications:

Penicillin-based drug allergy history should not be used.

Adverse Effects:

The allergic reactions caused by penicillin may occur in the application of this drug, among which the allergic reactions such as rash are most common, leukopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attack and serological reaction are rare, and the severe cases such as anaphylactic shock are rare. Once anaphylactic shock occurs, it is necessary to rescue on the spot, keep the airway open, inhale oxygen and use epinephrine, glucocorticoid and other treatment measures.

Drug Interactions:

In combination with propyl sulfonamide, aspirin, indomethacin, butazone and sulfonamides, it can reduce the secretion of renal tubules and prolong the serum half-life of penicillin.
In combination with warfarin, the anticoagulant effect of warfarin may be enhanced.

Precautions & Warning:

This drug is prohibited for intravenous injection, and has been reported to cause cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest after intravenous injection. The double infection of penicillin-resistant strains may occur after long-term application. The intramuscular injection should be prepared fresh.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Pregnant and lactating women: Pregnant women only use this product when necessary; A small amount of this product with the secretion of milk, lactating women should stop breastfeeding.
