CYPROHEPTADINE TABLET

Indications:

Cyproheptadine tablet is a H1 receptor antagonist of piperidine, and has mild and moderate anti-serotonin and anti-choline effects. It is suitable for the treatment of urticaria, angioedema, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and other allergic and pruritus skin diseases.

Contra-indications:

Patients with urinary retention and pyloric obstruction caused by various reasons such as glaucoma and prostatic hypertrophy are contraindosed.
Allergy to this product and accessories should be prohibited.
Prohibited for pregnant and lactating women.

Adverse Effects:

May have drug rash, photosensitive dermatitis, hypotension, tachycardia, extrasystole, anaphylactic shock; Hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia; Drowsiness, fatigue, headache, insomnia, paresthesia, convulsions and other neuropsychiatric symptoms, rare digestive disorders.

Drug Interactions:

Should not be combined with ethanol, can increase its sedative effect. Therefore, avoid alcohol during medication.
It should not be used with central nervous system inhibitors.

Precautions & Warning:

Do not use this product when the character changes. Keep this product out of reach of children.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Prohibited for pregnant and lactating women.

Treatment/antidote in The Event of Overdose:

If there is an overdose, please consult the doctor in time and take corresponding treatment measures, please follow the doctor's advice for details.
Emetics: If the patient is conscious and does not spontaneously vomit, emetics should be performed.
Gastric lavage: If the patient is unable to vomit, please first use isotonic or 1/2 isotonic saline lavage, then use activated charcoal. However, care must be taken to prevent aspiration, especially in infants and children.
